Well i’ve decided to head back onto the boards and get a little bit of speed back. Went out to the SuperDrome last night and had a bit of a hit out, had to blow the cobwebs off the completely disassembled trackie with what ever gear it had on it. Turned out it was a 93.6″ gear, a little shock to the legs!
I felt pretty good, but in a way no where near the form i had when i was in Italy. But for me that’s enough at the moment as i will start to build up again for the Canberra junior tour. Ahh freezingness…not looking forward to it.
On another topic school is going really well. I’m in year 12 and it’s not as bad as it could be, had parent teacher interviews the other night and it all turned out well…a big relief! It’s been good to turn down the training just a bit so i can focus on school for a while, i have been doing it for 13 years! No point stopping now.
I’ve got a race this weekend in the Barossa Valley, another handicap but it’s in a nice location on a good course. I’ll use it to start off my training full on for Canberra and then on Sunday i’ve got a ride with some other SASI riders.
Well that was all thats been going on for a while. I’ll keep these a little more regular…it’s boring otherwise!
Keep it real.
